Hijacked the Saab post, so I decided it would be better to start a nice meaningless post about the best SNL skit of the past 10 years.
I'm sure this has been done on 2+2 before, but what the hell...you really can't have too many Will Ferrell threads in an "Other Topics" section.
Gene Frenkle: You know, I could pull back a little. If you'd like.
No matter how many times I see it, Will Ferrell flailing all around the studio playing the cowbell with flabby belly hanging out of his shirt...priceless.

walken's census skit was grade A material as well. glad to see you've focused on the "explore the studio space" line as well, the subtleties are so key.

The genius of Walken is that you're not sure he gets the joke in the skit. Combine that with his tremendous vocal inflections and you've got spit-your-drink-out SNL comedy.
"I've got a FE-ver and the only pre-SCRIPT-ion..................is more COW-bell."
When you can see a skit 25 times and still laugh, someone's doing their comedy job.

"I'm sorry guys, it's just.....we just don't have a lot of tracks the feature the cowbell."
"When we're finished, you'll all be wearing gold plated diapers." "What does that mean?"
Not to be overlooked is Walken's work on "Pranksters"
"He was a stiffy stifferson, so I pranked him to death with a tire iron."
But you are correct, "cowbell" is the pinnacle of American sketch comedy.

I'll give you Baldwin, but name one funny sketch involving John Goodman, because I can't think of any.
