I've been noticing that even the small buy in events of $2000 or $5000 seem to last 2 or 3 days. I think the Main Event lasts 4 or 5. Does anyone know what the blinds start at and how fast they go up?

It's been a little aggravating playing in the live tournaments in AZ when the blinds double every 20 minutes and they 150 player tournaments are over in 4 hours. Seems to take a lot of the skill out of the game.

Maybe this is why the pros love the WSOP so much since they seem genuinely interested in finding the best player and not the luckiest.

T10,000 to start. The blinds start at 25/50. Usually each level is 2 hours long but it was shortened to one hour and forty minutes this year b/c of the huge field. Next level was 50/100, then I think it was 75/150, then 100/200, then 100/200 w/ an ante of 25. I can't remember the rest.

You haven't seen too many of these recently, have you?
