If for some bizarre reason you played your BB hand but then had to miss the SB hand, getting a lammer and having to wait until the button passes you....

what do you have to post, and is it dead pot money or a live behind-the-button blind?

I've never seen this happen so I don't know what the casinos do. Does anyone?

Thanks

In AC, you post a dead SB behind the button.

You can either wait for the big blind to come back to you and get back in normally, or you can come back in any position after the button by paying the SB. However, the SB will be dead - it does not count as a partial bet.

I've never seen it any other way.

Unless they have changed it, in Southern Cali, if you miss any of the blinds, you must post big and small behind the button if you don't want to wait till the BB, only the big blind is live, unless it's changed?

At the club I play at in NYC, if you miss the SB you can post a live SB behind the button. I use this for my pee breaks.
