OK...This is not a rant or anything...but I was just flabbergasted at this beat.
My question is if I made any obvious mistakes?
I don't have all of the details, so I'm doing this off of memory...If I left something out, I appologize.
.25/.50 hold'em on UB.
10 player table
I'm in 7th position.
I'm dealt K/images/graemlins/club.gif J /images/graemlins/club.gif
3 callers in front, I call, 1 caller behind(I think this guy was the CO). (not sure who was sb or bb)
Flop: K /images/graemlins/heart.gif K /images/graemlins/spade.gif J /images/graemlins/heart.gif
Checked to me, I check, CO bets, 3 callers, I call.
Turn: 3 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
Checked to me, I bet, CO calls, 1st player raises, 2 others fold, I reraise, CO folds, (heads up now), 1st player caps, I call.
River: Q /images/graemlins/heart.gif
1st player bets, I raise, 1st reraises, I cap it.
Now, ever since the flop, I had the nuts or at least a tie. Well, it turns out that 1st player had the A /images/graemlins/heart.gif 10 /images/graemlins/heart.gif for the Ace high StrFlush (aka royal).
I didn't think that I would be out drawn with Kings full.
Where did I go wrong?
I probably should have raised pre-flop and/or on the flop though. But I felt that getting beat (once the flop happened) that it was pretty slim.
