Commerce Deck Change Policy

The Commerce has a new deck change/new set-up policy. No deck change except when the new dealer comes in. There is also only one new set-up per hour, and only on the dealer change.

Every poker room should have a similar policy with a goal of minimizing the number of deck changes and set-ups.

In AC, players cannot request deck changes or set ups. The deck is changed with each dealer, and a new set up comes around three times a day. If there is a bad card in a game, the single card is replaced. The only criticism I have heard of this system is that it makes it easier for hold out cheats to operate. Dealers do count down the deck frequently.

Should help speed up the game. Watch your cards for bowing or fingernail marks and take note of who is in the game when those appear.


Now if they would speed up the collection process, they'd have something.
