Where is this quote from?

I see this quote around a lot on this board but can't seem to find where it originated... Something along the lines of "Sir, you play a game with which I am unfamiliar."

Anyone who wants to post background on the quote, that'd be cool also. Just curious...

We stole it from Andy Fox who stole it from some old golfer (Hogan?) who was talking about Nicklaus in his prime.

It was originally said about golf - I think in reference to Jack Nicklaus but I'm not sure who said it - could have been Ben Hogan.

Pretty sure it was Byron Nelson on Nicklaus.

It was Bobby Jones on Nicklaus, then Nicklaus turned around and used it on Tiger.

This one is absolutely correct.. Jones said it caues Nicklaus knocked the snot out of the ball. Nicklaus said it about Tiger for probably the same reason.

Yes, I just did a search. It was Bobby Jones in 1963 as Nicklaus was winning his first Masters.
