View Full Version : From a NL SNG Player to a Limit ring player... books? worth it?

I've been playing exclusively no limit sng's on party. I've read TOP, HPFAP, TPFAP, Super/System, NL/PL by reuben/ciaffone, and Caro's tells (not too relevant to online sngs).

I have found that playing 4 $20 tables at a time has been the most profitable and safe for me. I make about $27/hour doing this.

I was wondering

A) Can I expect Limit ring games to be more profitable than this?

and

B) Other than SSH, what should I read to make the transition?

and

C) What should I read if I choose not to make the transition?

From what I've heard around hear (I guess read, not heard) WLLH is great for beginners and as an intro to SSH. I do already play NL holdem though.. Do I need WLLH?

Anyone have anything to say about the psychology books? I'd be interested to read one even if it didn't improve my game much, but I'd be much moreso if someone has found one particularly helpful.

Thanks a lot for your time.

If you post this in the "generaL" section, you're more apt to get a response. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
