I know this has been asked before, but what are the chances of myself having AA vs. someone elses KK in a 9-10 handed game? Thanks for any help with this.

For a 10 handed game:
Odds that you have AA = 6/C(52,2) = 1/220
Odds that someone else has KK given that you now have AA = 9*6/C(50,2) - C(9,2)/C(50,4) =~ .0439
So the odds that you will get AA and someone else will get KK = 1/220 * .0439 =~ .0002 or about 5007 to 1

but, i don't think i should be alarmed that this happened 2 times at the same table within 2 hours, right? I truly believe that the poker sites are not rigged (i am not being sarcastic, i truly believe that they are fair) or else i would not play on-line. but, it seems strange that today within 1.5 hrs i had KK vs AA twice and two days the same thing, but I had the AA vs KK twice. so, i guess my next questions would be, being that i have already been dealt AA (or KK) what are the chances that someone else already has KK (or AA if i have KK)? thanks for the help.

Having it happen twice in a day is not really that amazing at all. If you have already been dealt AA or KK then the odds that someone else has AA or KK is just 9 * 6/C(50,2) - C(9,2)/C(50,4) =~ .0439

Made a slight error in my original post. The odds of being dealt AA is 1/221. The answer is still ~ .0002, and the odds against are ~ 5030 to 1.
