Playing in a no limit game with several live ones.
A few limpers come in and then a very live one raises a small amount in the cutoff. The button then raises it to about $100. All fold to the live one who reluctantly, slowly folds. Button shows KK and the live one slams the table "I KNEW I should have called!".
Two very good, very tough players go to war on the turn when the board is 3457 with two clubs. About $1400 goes in from each player. One has 68 of clubs and the other has 67o. Of course, the river in an 8 for a $1400 save.
The first player starts razzing the second about his "excellent" playing skills, and the second responds. "Watch out, I might get lucky next time."
