The second poker boom isn't huge, and it's taken longer than we thought to get started, but it's definitely on now.

Good luck at the tables 2+2.

On a summer Monday night at that, hard to believe. I'm curious to see where these numbers will be in Oct and Nov. 75k? maybe more? When will we first see 100,000 on Party? I'll set the o/u at March 13th 2005

Also, curious about UB's growth over the last year. I see close to 12k there most nights. Where were they 3 months ago? 6? 12?

It seemed to jump from mid 20's to mid 30's pretty quickly also. Those weren't very good bots

You do realize that one person can count more than once. Not that it would make it below any other poker room, but the number would drop a lot.

There's no poker on TV tonight.

From this NY Times article:

Young Men Are Back Watching TV. But Did They Ever Leave? (http://www.nytimes.com/2004/08/09/business/media/09ratings.html)

[ QUOTE ]
Among the programming attracting young men, are repeats of Comedy Central's biggest hit, "Chappelle's Show," and numerous hours devoted to poker on cable.

[/ QUOTE ]

The article only mentions poker briefly but includes a photo of Fossilman at the WSOP.

I think that this has been discussed and refuted.

It's the last night to clear the ASB bonus for some, that's probably why.
