This was a home game, 8 people, NLHE, tournament style. Blinds = 2/4 This is about 12 hands in, everyone still hovering at the 210 starting chip mark. This is a very loose game (AJ+ and pairs above 5-5 will get raised unless the action is extremely unreasonable) and only one person really utilizes position and he folded, so throw out that angle.

UTG folds, UTG+1 (largest stack, only by 40-50 chips) raises 20, MP1 (medium stack) reraises to 50, MP2 folds, CO calls (medium stack), button folds, SB folds, BB folds, UTG+1 calls.

Flop is 9-J-J. Pot = 156
UTG+1 bets 50, MP1 folds, CO thinks a bit... and raises all-in, 152 chips total.

If you're UTG+1 and you had the feeling that you were strong on the flop and thus made a bet, do you call the all-inraise with 8-8?

Since we're all just a bunch of crazy careless amateurs, I will also say that it is very difficult to accurately identify a high pocket pair.
