verify the math on this post.

Expectation calculation on a turn check-raise. (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=907177&page=0&view=ex panded&sb=5&o=14&fpart=1#Post906753907177)

I'm trying to calculate expectation for the first time in quite awhile, and I'd like to know if I got this right.

Thank a lot,

Garland

I had a quick look at the analysis and it looks fine but always folding in this spot leads to other problems i.e. you are going to see a lot more bluffs and semibluffs coming your way.

Since the decision is a close one, I would call just to avoid people taking shots at me (and only me).

Thank you skp,

About your comment about taking shots, I would agree that a loose call is in order once in a while if you have, let's say 1 or 2 other callers, but since there are 4 total people in the pot, this fold looks so much more appealing. I hate throwing my money away when I'm drawing dead or near dead.

Thanks again,

Garland
