Pacific Poker Disconnects

I'm a long time reader, first time poster. Anyway, I generally play two tables at a time. One at Pacific Poker, the other at Party Poker. I continually get disconnected from Pacific Poker even though Party Poker and my internet connection in general (cable modem) have no problems. There are things I like about Pacific Poker (lower rakes, especially for SNGs) but if these disconnects keep up I'll have to think about closing my account there. Just curious if other people are having similar problems. Thanks.

Disconnects were bad before and now its getting worse at pacific, since they "upgraded" their software last week i have been geting disconnected 2-3 times per hour.

I was disconnected 3-4 times in a span of about 5 hours last night. I also get a disconnect when I first sign on and try to enter my username. Usually takes 2 or 3 attempts to sign on before I actually get connected, and then in about an hour, I will go thru that little exercise again when I am disconnected. Think we could talk all those really bad playing Pacific players to join Party?

I usually play the same way, a table at Pacific and 1 at Empire. I would say that it varies a great deal. i.e. some days I will get disconnected 3 or 4 times at Pacific, other days not at all. This weekend, I think Saturday, I couldn't connect at all, then on Sunday evening I got in and played a short session with no problem. I think the longest I have gone with no disconnects is 2 days in a row.

About 6-8 months ago I experienced a lot of disconnects at Pacific but then for a few months hardly any. However in the last week or so I am experiencing frequent disconnects again, or the lobby or table go blank for a while then come back.
