Easy and I are playing 2/4 at the same table on PP saturday. I comment that my % of flops seen was unusually high @ 30% early on. Later, that number came down to 26% and stayed there for the rest of the afternoon. Easy commented that 26% would be high for him.

Is zulu too loose? Or is easy too tight?

zulu is loose. i have hit 26% plenty of times. if this is your norm then its a tad high. i make the most money at 2/4 around 22%. alot of people around here say 20%. i guess im a little looser in the sb then them.

If using the Flop Saw percent on PP stats window, I like to have mine at about 27 or 28 max. That usually gives me a VP$IP of about 22 (factoring out the BBs). This is where I seem to have be most success. I have had a couple of 40%-45%, 75 hand sessions where I had a GOOD run of opening hands, but the flops were not frequently favorable. Although I won a good number of the hands, the wins were often offset by losses or folding on the flop or turn.

When I'm losing and I'm not sure why, I open up my stats box. I often find that my flops seen % is higher than I'm comfortable with. I make a concerted effort to tighten up.

Don't worry about absolute values, worry about your normal, presumably winning play, and use the number as a vague navigational aid.
