If it were suited the pf raise would be good. QJo I would limp in with but I don't like the raise. After that it looks fine.

QJo is an OK button limp, i would fold off the button, not really a hand i want to be playing and if i am im hoping for the straight. after that you look fine. good river bet.

I See the error in my preflop raise. I am reading HEPAP I miss read the part about being able to play down to group 8 hands. I thought it said to raise down to group 8. It says that the occasional rasie with suited conectors and small pairs is OK. For a few reasons.

I would limp here w/ QJo - otherwise good.

As a side note, you should be selective in applying the concepts in HEPFAP to micro limit games (I'd say in this case it's OK).

Raising 5 limpers on the button with middle suited connectors or pairs is better than OK. Having said that, the sooner you can move away from the HPFAP groups, the better. (Yes, I used them, too. Probably everyone here did.) The pre-flop discussion in SSH is probably the right place to start in that process.

I wonder what the villain had in this case. No matter what it is, he is either pretty passive or he's a calling station. I am going to guess JT or a pair of 8s.

Results in white below:
UTG+1 shows 4c Jd (two pair, jacks and sixes).
Hero shows Js Qc (two pair, jacks and sixes).
Outcome: Hero wins 6.85 BB. UTG+1 wins 6.85 BB.

Gotta love those tight pre-flop standards. /images/graemlins/smile.gif My guess wasn't too far off, I suppose.

I don't like your preflop raise. I would just call.

When you flop TPGK, bet every street and never get played back at, it's hard to see how that could be "to aggressive".
