Does anyone have any suggestions on taking notes on opponents while playing. What kind of info do you keep track of? Has anyone worked out a shorthand way of keeping info on players. Thanks

As a basic guideline, I tend to note what starting hands opponents play, from which positions (EP, MP, LP). I'll also tend to try & note a player's aggression, or lack thereof. Given enough info, I try to summarize into a one liner at the top of my notes for them.

You may also want to try PokerTracker (www.pokertracker.com), which will export quantitative notes out into most poker clients, giving you opponents' stats right when you need them.
