River: ($17.25) A (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 checks.

I am guilty of doing this same posting faux pax myself often, but I think you might get tainted responses by revealing the fact that MP2 checked behind.

Hand 1:

I like it. It has the feel that he's on a diamond draw, and you're checking the river because there's no use in betting any more. So you give him the chance to bluff bet the river, which you call. This also saves in case he slowplayed a set/two pair, which turned to a full house on the river.

Hand 2:

I like it. Not much to talk about there.

Hand 3:

Standard. You may want to play for set value, but I still liked your line. Narrow down to one and make him fold.

Now that you made that work once, perhaps you can try this move again in the "distant" future with absolute crap.

I think you played each of the hands well. Pot-sized bets are a nice way to keep your opponents off of draws, though some people (see Rdub's article on "The Cards Speak" - http://cardsspeak.servebeer.com) argue that given the lack of stack depth on party (50x BB, instead of 100), half-pot bets are more appropriate.

Your play on the Ad Td hand was particularly well executed. Also, I'd consider betting the river on hand one, at least sometimes. In all likelyhood, your opponent has a strong diamonds draw, in which case he'd fold, or a weaker ace than you. Only hands you're worried about are AK, A4, A5, and A7. I think he'd have raised any of these at the turn. Did he end up with AQ to split the pot?
