View Full Version : WPT DVD Set worth $60?

I have never seen an episode of WPT because I dont have the Travel channel. Is it worth the $60 or so I can get it for on ebay?

i wouldnt have any problem paying 60$ if it was my only option. i look for it for free online first though. of course im a scumbag.

I would say yes, I think I paid more than that 6 months ago. I however am a big WPT fan, so you might want to get some more opinions. /images/graemlins/blush.gif

Pay the $60. It's worth it.

I say this especially because you have never seen the episodes before.

I had seen them all, of course, then bought it for my--ahem-- library, only to find that I really cannot imagine getting anywhere NEAR $60 worth of viewing pleasure out of it.

But at least now I have it, just in case there's ever not enough NEW poker on TV for me.

No its not worth it, but two months worth of cable, they play a lot of repeats anyway.

I don't know, it is fun to watch an hour once in a while, but......... I bought the WSOP for $100 on DVD (20 years from 73-2003) or something, and have watched two of the years - and can't get myself to watch anymore. It's just a bit too much for me.

Damn, you got a good deal. I paid over $10 a year.
