View Full Version : Playing Humungous flops...

I have AsTs on the button.

UTG open raises, I 3-bet(did I mention this is 4-handed??)

Blinds fold, opener calls.

FLOP:

A-A-T

opener Checks...

Checking is probably the most immediately profitable action, but maybe not.

1) I could get a lot of action from TT, AK, AQ,

2) some action from AJ, A9s, A8s, A7s

3) KK,QQ,JJ,99,88 will call me down or try to steal.

4) Everything else probably folds, except a few steals.

His 1-off button UTG raising standards are quite broad. He raises every hand he plays, and plays 75% of hands. The blinds are tight enough that this is probably not too bad.

ANYWAY, since I bet the flop 99% of the time when I put in the last bet pre-flop heads-up, I think checking here is just silly.
