Okay. We have just purchased a 2003 BMW 325i Loaded to the gills and the car we both wanted. (Paid for with poker winnings) Thank you 2+2.

We want to get some vanity plates and am asking for your help and opinions. Please give your opinions in this thread.

Thanks to all.

Vanity Plates are like a little sign to the Police saying, "Hey, pay attention to me and hopefully write me a ticket!"

I hope your new car isn't RED.

Can "Vanity Plates Are Gay" fit on a vanity plate? What state are the plates for?

very nice car. congrats!

i vote no on the plates(not that you asked /images/graemlins/grin.gif). no matter how cool a car is as soon as i see vanity plates i think "what a fng prick". get an expensive pair of shades instead. just my two cents.

This one is easy because I've actually thought of doing this. In CT, the plates are 6 characters. My suggestion is:

THE.NTS

And with a car like a BMW, any poker player would agree that this plate would fit perfectly! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I don't need vanity plates to fall into that category. /images/graemlins/blush.gif

I still have my Ray-Ban wayfarers from like 20 years ago. Tom Cruise eat your heart out.

In jersey they are seven and my first thought was

My reaction is the opposite. When I see a decked-out car with normal plates, it's "WTF is wrong with these people, spend a grand on the rims and don't spend $100 on the plates?"

Maybe YEOLDBMW

No its not red. Not that big of a target and around town Iknow everyone in the Police Dept.

My wife I dont think has ever broken the speed limit in her life. Ive had no moving violations ever.
Aren't I the responsible one?

My plate really says:

AKQJ9

I wish I could take credit for it, but I plagerized it from a plate I saw in Vegas (it looks much cooler on a Nevada plate).

So if you're in NV or MS, you can't have it--it's taken.

Do a search there was a thread about this in the General forum I think.

My idea was AKQJTs (but the s probably has to be capitalised which sucks).

If you're going with thenuts I think DA_NUTS is better somehow. It gives the spread out look. Actually they might not do that since it could be taken to be vulgar.

Also if you're going with a tricked out high end car get one of those bumper stickers that says "live simply that others may simply live" people will love that.

There's nothing cooler than a new BMW with a really gay vanity plate.

I think DA_NUTZ is about as good as it gets.

No joke: I saw

LTSLXIX

one night on a tricked out GTO.

Not poker related, and entirely skeezy, but pretty funny.

Speaking of gay vanity plates, I saw a 50-something guy driving a lexus on the freeway today with plates that say:

So I'm driving north on Paradise after dropping off the wife at McCarron. I'm 24, and driving my new Toyota Tercel (the cheapest car I could find). I'm on my way back to my $65/wk motel room, which I've been living in for several months. It's all I can afford, because I'm making $5/hr.

I get passed by some bright red, custom-made-looking car, like you'd see in an antique car collection. Super shiny, chrome exhaust pipes that don't run underneath the car, but along the running board. The car must've been about 30 feet long. A real stunner. Absolutely beautiful.

Then, as it gets by me, I see the plate:

H82BPOR

Never, before nor since, have I ever entertained such violently homicidal thoughts. I wanted to run this guy into a ditch SO BAD, I was thinking about sacraficing my car and my personal safety to do so.
