World Poker Tour Format

I have never played in a major event like this and I was wondering if someone could tell me what type of format they have. In particular the Legends of Poker Main Event. I know it is a 4 day tournament but is there a set time when each day ends or do they need to get down to a certain number of people left?

I will be at this event as well. I know that on the 2nd day, they will play down to 36 players. On the third day, they will play to 6. And the final day, they will play to the winner of course. However, I am not sure what the breaking point is on the first day. I think it will be based on time, probably 5 ninety minute rounds.
