Damn this online poker sometimes. I've been getting rivered, turned, flopped, bent-over, sucked out, cracked, nailed, and just about any other term you could come up with the last two days. It seems like they're out to get me. (must be those pattern mappers /images/graemlins/grin.gif) Bankroll depleted 15% in the last two days. Because I've never had much of a bankroll until recently, a loss of this magnitude is a new thing for me and very hard to accept this morning. Top that off with an in the $$ of 30% and ROI of ZERO over my last 60 SNGs thanks to the recent beatings and I need some help.

From someone who's been there... how do you get through a period like this? Every time I play now I expect to lose, for example when I see KK in the hole I wonder "let's see how the site decides to F me this time?" Tilt happens within minutes, and this is obviously not how things are supposed to go. Any advice greatly appreciated!

Hey Mack,

I can feel your pain. Went from a 65% ROI over my first 70 SNG's to barely breaking even on my last 30. I knew the 65% ROI was too high but I'm getting knocked out in 4th or 5th place alot and when I do make the money I just place 3rd. At first I chalked it up to a bad run. But now I am starting to realize that Im not a good as I thought I was. Im going back through my hand histories and trying to find the leaks. Some of the losses have been due to losing coin flips, getting rivered, ect.ect. But I am finding that I'm making some big mistakes that are costing me. I also took a break from SnG's and went back to the limit tables. Allowed me time to cool off and come back with a clear head. Hope it turns around for you.
