I posted this in the theory but after our group trying it out now I realized I want some feedback outside of our microcosm. If interested, the next time you have a home game, try Rebate Hold 'em.
It is 100% identical to regular Hold 'em, except, after the flop, before that first round of flop betting, every player, in turn, has the option of mucking ONE of their cards for a 50% return of their preflop wager. They continue in the hand but just with that one lone card.
Give it a try the next time you have a home game (this weekend?) and I'd be interested in any and all feedback. Thanks.
