PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t800, Ante is t50 (3 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

SB (t10610)
Hero (t1820)
Button (t1070)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 6/images/graemlins/club.gif, 7/images/graemlins/club.gif.
<font color="666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="CC3333">SB raises to t1600</font>, Hero ???

This is a PS 6+.50 Turbo SnG. The button is about to get blinded away. Should I sit back and force him to make his move? I'm down to about 3 hands probably -- is this worth playing here?

Big stack is fairly conservative. Very regular on his pre-flop raises, but generally has been happy to let us fight it out.

The other small stack was very agressive and had gone from t5800 5 hands ago, to t230 2 hands ago (where he doubled up on me), to here.

your hand here is not that great and your chip position makes top spot a writeoff. I would fold this and let the play all in on the next hand. Playing this hand amounts to handing free money to the button.

If the button didn't have significantly fewer chips than you, it might be different. But this is a clear fold. I don't think you can call here knowing that you're a dog(unless he has 5 high - which is very unlikely).

this ain't the hand, if they are stealraising with T-2 they're still a favourite. 76s is a multiway hand, not a HU hand.

Fold and hope to knock out Button

Pete Harris

This is a good point. I was in the "play for third, gamble for first" mode, but I think my odds at making first were too long at this point.

Well, I definitely should've folded -- I really ran into a train wreck here...

Just to add insult to injury, I made my flush and lost.

This was the end of a particularly frustrating sequence. Two hands before, Villian was in the BB and it went:

And then the next hand (the one before the one I posted), the doubled-up Villian was the SB, and it went:
