1. How big a pocket pair can you laydown when facing a reraise? For example, blinds 10/20, you're in middle position with 88, folded to you. Raise 3x BB to 60 and somewhat tight player (a little early for a true read) directly to your left reraises to 220. Lay it down without hesitation? Whats the cutoff to call and/or reraise? 10s? Js?

2. Pocket Aces and the board flops suited and you don't have that suit. 2 other players. Is this a bet to see where you're at, or overbet to kill the odds on the draw, or push?

Early SNG, stacks about even in all cases.

All thoughts appreciated.

Thanks!

(1) Since we are talking early stages, I don't even bother raising TT or worse because I'm just playing (i.e. limping)them for set value. I will raise with JJ - AA and only reraise with KK - AA. So yes, I will lay down 88 to a reraise here.

(2) Assuming you act first, trying to check-raise AA on that flop can be costly if no one bets. I like the overbet for the added folding equity without risking my whole stack. If called though, I will check-fold on a suited turn card.
