At the recommendation of Rick Nebiolo, we went to see Maria Full of Grace Saturday. Great movie. Thanks, Rick.

Tough to watch at times. Maria is a seventeen-year-old girl in Colombia who gets invovled as a "mule," bringing drugs into the U.S. But the movie is more about her life in Colombia and the experience of immigrants here in the U.S. (similar to Dirty Pretty Things). Wonderful performance by the lead actress. Don't go if you're in a down mood, because the movie is, as I say, tough to watch in parts, the curelness of the world and some people in it being front and center. But it's extraordinarily memorable and you'll be thinking about it long after you've left the theater in a way you won't after seeing, say, The Bourne Supremacy.
