Can anyone help me interpret it? What is the number in parenthesis after the hand name in each cell?

The number in parentheses is the odds, with 1 left out in each case... so 5.3: is 5.3:1 for, 1.4: is 1.4:1 against.

I leave out the one in order to be able to save space, so that the matrix can print on one page widthwise without difficulty.
