SB in this hand is a bit loose but hasn't raised preflop in my 3 orbits at the table (the only standard raising hand he's shown down is AKo).

These SB versus BB are always nice.

I play it pretty much the same.
I might have considered a raise on the turn. Did you feel you were beat there?

Well, I felt like the turn was the only interesting decision in the hand. Basically, I didn't want to get three-bet, and despite the fact that the J is an excellent bluff bet for him if he thinks he's behind, I didn't feel like someone so passive would be bluffing (or semi-bluffing) often enough to make a raise for value.

Results and thoughts in white:

SB shows AA. The wierd preflop passivity of a lot of 3/6 players has been the wierdest thing for me to adjust to at this level. Coldcalling with big hands instead of 3-betting. Limping, but not limp-reraising. I guess they don't want to get the pots heads up.

You gotta love his call on the river though.

Dont you just hate it when bad play throughout on his part squeezes that extra bet out of you.

Story of my life. I think I have lost more lately to my opponents cold calling 2 bets with QQ and raising J10 EP than anything else.

Looks good! I don't know if I would have come up with the river raise in the heat of battle, but I think it is +EV.

EDIT: Unless he turns over aces.
