I'll buy it I guess but I don't really see what the big deal is. Half life 2 is a much more major release imo.

i agree but im still looking forward to both. need a new pc though. my current 600mhz processor with 256 mb of ram and a 64 mb graphics card is not going to cut it. i hate buying a new pc for a game but my friends are already taking off for a 3 day(more or less) lan party of half life.
