Flopped bottom set on a scary board that just got scarier...

UB .50/1.00 (Does anyone know a converter for UB histories, (or what pokertracker gives me)?

Hero has 7 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif7 /images/graemlins/club.gif in the BB

2 folds, EP calls, fold, MP calls, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks

Flop: 7 /images/graemlins/heart.gifQ /images/graemlins/heart.gif8 /images/graemlins/heart.gif (5 SB)

SB checks, Hero bets, EP calls, MP calls, Button folds, SB calls

Turn: 6 /images/graemlins/spade.gif (7 /images/graemlins/heart.gifQ /images/graemlins/heart.gif8 /images/graemlins/heart.gif) (4.5 BB)

check, Hero bets, 3 calls

River: T /images/graemlins/spade.gif (7 /images/graemlins/heart.gifQ /images/graemlins/heart.gif8 /images/graemlins/heart.gif6 /images/graemlins/spade.gif) (8.5 BB)

SB checks, Hero checks, EP bets, MP raises, all call

should I have tried a check raise on the flop or turn, or just abandoned the hand at some point? Comments on anything welcome.

thanks

I would consider folding instead of calling two bets on the river.
