First deposit anywhere online.
I've been playing for about 8 months in home SNGs and I'm winning pretty consistently (against weak opposition)

Primary goal is to improve my poker (I don't care too much about the money, breaking even while improving would make me far happier than making $$ and not)

Thanks for any and all help.

Party has the worst players, but you only start w/ 800 chips at the $5-10 levels and the blinds go up ever ten hands. Stars has better software and a better structure with 1500 starting chips and blinds going up every 10 minutes. The players on stars are better though. Try the one table tournament for more on this.

if you are a tournament player only then you should definately sign up at Pokerstars. Better structure of games (more chips/longer rounds) allows for greater skill to shine through. Also they have a wider range of tournaments such as speed games and 6 max tournaments which adds a bit of fun to tournament play.

Also PP charges $1 fee for $5 SNG's while Stars is only $.50. Why not sign up at both? Practice at Stars then move to Party when you are ready to play only $10 and up. The players are quite bad at the $10 level @ Party.

I would say Pokerstars although I have yet to play at Party
