Nut flush draw? - all in or a mistake

Ok, Guys and Girls, here is the situation...
Paradise $5 + 1 SNG
Down to 6 players. Average stack ~ 1300.
I have 780, player on my right around 810.
I am in mid to late position.
Guy on right limps in with 20, I have Ah4h and call.
One other caller.
Flop comes 2h,4c,5h.
Guy on right of me checks.
I go all in. Other people drop but guy on right of me calls quickly.
Turn is 5s, river I forget.( not a heart )
Anyhow, he shows As3c and takes it down with the straight.

Do you feel I made a mistake in going all in here, or should I keep doing this?

It sounds to me like the blinds were 10/20? That means you risked 780 chips to win... I think it's 80 but I'm not sure from your most.

I would check here as well (maybe you can see if you hit for free), and call any pot sized bet but not one bigger than that. Your hand is good but not good enough to call large bets without implied odds, and you can't assume you will get their whole stack if they hit.

Honestly, it's 80 chips, and if someone wants to bet 200 chips to take it, they're welcome to it. And next time, when they try again when I have a made hand, they will regret betting so much /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I agree with durron. i like the play later in the game, level 4 and up i would say, but pushing that many chips into that size of a pot is a little ridiculous.
