Just wondering if any of the Vegas regulars could give an estimate for how many people there are playing poker on a typical Friday or Saturday night. I was thinking about this when I was logging into Party and they pretty much always have over 30,000 playing on any given night.

At any one time, about 2,000.

2010 - the Orleans added another table.
whoops, make that 2020 - the Palms just squeezed one in the corner.
No, 2030 - miscounted the tables at the Golden Nugget.
Oh, And I'm not counting the old rocks playing $1 ante 7 card stud at the El Cortez.

I've heard that at any given moment, more people are playing on Party then in all the B&M casinos in the world combined. I believe Party represents about 30% of the online play. If true, it certainly puts on-line poker in perspective.
