He was audited for the year of 1994. Basically you are going to be screwed if you are audited.

He had four different meetings with IRS agents. He had to provide documentation for every deposit into his checking account. He was accused of cheating on his taxes and requested to pay an additional $2300. Finally he was able to convince the IRS that he had paid all of his taxes and he didn't own any more moeny. All this for someone who kept great records and paid all of his taxes.

He got screwed because the IRS made him waste lots of time and effort just to prove his innocence. The IRS has no concept of innocent until proven guilty. Anyone else want to go thru the same situation?
