Kerry aide claims no photos were permitted:

Cahill, asked by FOXNEWS whether it was a dirty trick, said: 'Well, what do you think?' No photos were supposed to be taken, she said.

HUME: so the campaign had no idea there would be any photographs.

CAHILL: none.

HUME: in fact, there is a shot with a bunch of them in these outfits. he is not running, of course.

Does Kerry look like he doesn't think a photo is being taken?

This is like blaming the Secret Service for falling on the ski slopes.

Do you want four years of "I didn't do it, blame that guy"?

This is about the 6th or 7th thread you've started in a row that has been completely lame, not at all damaging to Kerry and most of the time George W Bush is worse (or at least has a worse reputation) on the topic you bring up.

Who cares? Kerry's aide lied about a photo op. It's not like his lie has any great consequences like those told by Bush.

jdl,

We are in the period of defining Kerry now, just watch the show in Boston. They won't show his real character, blaming the secret service, attacking his former soldier mates for atrocities, flip-flopping. Its a dirty job, but someone has to do it.

But the National Aeronautics and Space Administration told Fox News that the Kerry team saw the photos before publication and passed on their release.
A NASA spokesman told the top-rated cable network that the images were given to the Kerry campaign to review before several were posted on the Kennedy Space Center Web site.
In no way were photographs "leaked," the spokesman said.

ROTFLMAO!!!!!

This made my morning. I don't think it is at all damaging to Kerry, but it's still damn funny. He looks like hes auditioning to be an Oompa Loompa in the 'Willie Wonka' remake. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I still contend that GWB is really a liberal having a little fun. Nothing he's posted has convinced me otherwise.

I don't think it's damaging at all and it's inconsequential. It may even help him by showing a side that is warmer and friendlier than perhaps is his public personna (if you believe Kerry comes off as detached and aloof occasionally). Another "whole lot of nothing" issue.

My understanding of the "NASA-GATE" controversy being spewed out by right-wing knuckleheads is that no reporters were allowed to join Kerry on his tour. However there was video and pictures being taken by NASA, and some how they got leaked. Big freakin deal!!!
NASA is a government agency after all, so I guess shame on Kerry for being interested.

Does anyone (except GWB) actually think that this sort of thing is an issue?
