Some random thoughts on the last episode...

Parts of the show smack of being staged, but it's kind of fun to watch anyway.

The casino owner shouldn't be upset that the high roller kept playing and won back the money he'd lost. All he should care about is action. He needs to learn to think like the house if he's going to be successful.

Can it be that hard to find Andy Bloch?

im starting to like this show less and less each week bc it looks more and more fake each week. ex., tommy(cant get right) suddenly becomes a host, not good business but good tv i suppose. just getting farther away from the enter workings of a casino to another show with ppl acting like jackasses and girls dressed in nothing(which i can live with /images/graemlins/grin.gif )

My probkem with the show is that everyone in it is pretty unlikeable.

Maybe the lounge singer, he seems like a nice guy. Everyone else is trying to get something from someone.

He's attempting to kiss Tim & Tom (owner's) asses to get to the main showroom. Alas, I like his Sinatra style but he's no longer at the casino. (real time)

Looked at the Golden Nuggets website just a couple of days ago and Matt Dusk is no longer there....dumbass Tommy (my daddy's a host) is though. He's listed under the host's page, with an email address and everything. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

He really got under the skin of that bitch woman floor manager(which makes me laugh), but he is totally clueless.

I think the thinner co-owner dude is ok (but he doesn't seem to do squat), and so are the senior hosts that smooth everything over with the hi-rollers.

I have a hard time believing that tommy ever graduated high school.. the guy is a goon.. if he was my host, i would be on the fast track to MGM or Mandalay...

I don't know how he wasn't term'ed for allowing that bill n teds excellent adventure tag team to hand out fliers and have an audience show up for their act interview..

and when he stands up the hotty at dinner and she has to pay ?? I mean come on dude.. you'll be single forever...

In the end, it's just entertainment right? I mean who in their right mind would let someone be a host who didn't even know how to do something as basic as writing a comp (they don't train the kid? he hasn't seen his dad do it?). And the bowling thing with the list of high rollers? C'mon... you could smell the scam a mile away, at least those girls were hot to look at.

It was Zach, Tim & Tom's assistant, who left the hotty to pay the tab. He's almost as much a tool as Tommy is. The show really makes it seem like the Golden Nugget is run by fools. Maybe it is!

Tommy's picture should be put in the dictionary under the word "nepotism". How they could let someone this stupid be a host, let alone have a JOB at the Nugget without having daddy work there, shows how bad it makes Tim and Tom look.

Fox doesn't seem to like the show either, since they're burning off the last 5 shows during the Olympics with 2 shows a week, letting it sink even further in the ratings.
