El Diablo's August TourneyQuest

Things seem to be a little light on the Quest front these days, so here's a new one from El Diablo.

Play at least one, hopefully two or more, Aruba sats (through Aug 22).

Play at least one, hopefully two or more, Legends of Poker sats (through Aug 15).

Play at least one, hopefully two or more, Stars WCOOP tournies (through Aug 8).

Play at least one, hopefully two or more, other $200-600 buyin online tournies (through end Aug).

Predictions? (tournies played in the last few days of July also qualify for this Quest)

I predict El Diablo will spit in the eyes of his opponents when they are off-guard.

So far, no. The Party tournament nothing interesting happened, I just never got any hands. The Stars rebuy tournament, the cheating Stars software made me lose when I had the best hand three times. Bastards.

This has been removed from the Quest. I just recently realized that I'm going to be in a friend's wedding the first day of this tourney. This is quite unfortunate, as it's a 5k (most of the others are 10k and farther away) WPT in LA, so I was planning to buy in if I didn't win this sat. Oh well, it's just poker.

Results of this quest have nothing to do w/ whether or not he makes the money, just whether or not he plays.

The 3 MTTs in a month already ties my record (3 WSOP sats in May).

Made two final tables this weekend, went out 2nd and 8th. Ended up +$1200 or so in the sats overall, so not all bad. The 2nd place was quite disappointing, though.

So, 6 right now. Quite a success IMO. And I still have a week to go and the Party Aussie tourney sats look fun.
