View Full Version : Hypothetical -- If you knew your odds, when would you call/fold/raise?

Let's assume that you're on the button, and there has been a UTG raiser, and everyone has folded to you. Also assume that you know the odds of whether or not you will win the hand, but you don't know the exact hand your opponent has. For this example, you put the raiser on AK, AQ, AA, KK, QQ, JJ, TT, or 99.

TT would be (these are approx. numbers) about an 11:9 underdog, JJ would be a slight favorite, QQ about a 3:2 favorite, KK a 7:3 favorite, AK about a coin flip.

So, when do you call and see a flop? When do you push? And when do you fold? -- while knowing your odds, but not knowing the hand.
