A post on RGP led me to this older post on RGP by Tony, who makes PokerStat.

I wanted to run a t test for the difference in means between the statistics on the bottom of the page, namely the four flush. You can calculate that 50286 hands went to showdown, and that four to a flush came on the board 2024 times(4.607%) and should have come on the board 1902 times(4.29%). I have no clue how to find the standard deviation for either the population or the sample to be able to run a T test. Can someone help me?

In addition, is the fact that the number of times the user saw the river a sort of self weighting strategy affect the results if I were to run a similar test on that data. It should be noted that almost all the data below the ALL RIVERS SEEN BY USER LINE is higher than it should be.

Thanks in advance,
Jason
