I'm gonna move up to $5-10 at Party pretty soon. I would already be playing there if there were more 10 player tables. I'm just not comfortable at the 6 player max tables. But perhaps I should open raise UTG with hands like QJo or 77 as I would MP1 in a 10 person table. Is this accurate and are there other adjustments I should consider?

QJo is a loose raise from UTG. I asked a question in the headsup-shorthanded forum a couple of months ago, and it seemed like in a "typical" game, some were for ATo and some were against it. So you can use ATo as your measuring stick, since it seems to be the most borderline hand there is. Pairs depend completely upon your confidence in playing them.

Don't forget there are other sites with 5/10 too. A lot of people say good bye to Party after they move up from 3/6.

stheif, I would be really curious why they do.

Could you please expand on that at all?

I don't know. I've never played 5/10 anywhere other than Party and Pacific. But it seems like a lot of people move on to Ultimate Bet. John Shaft, arkady, and Johnny Boom Boom are a few people worth asking about this.

I'm curious about this also.
