Tiny bit above average after first break. I just noticed the levels last 20 minutes. No, I am not smart.

I'm at 2400. I was treading water at about 900 until I was able to double up off someone who had all of four outs on the flop, and then win a couple more pots.

Speak of the devil. Up to 4K after flopping three kings against pocket rockets.

Three quarters of the way through level 5 and I'm getting smothered. Down to T1000.

Im out SB vs BB hand... I try to steal and my opponent flops QQ to go with the QJ in his hand. Checks it till the river where I hit part of my hand, and he got me to bust.

The field seems quite a bit tougher than the $30 MTT field. Much more agressive, for one.

I'm out...folded to me in the CO with TT, 75/150 blinds. I push for about 1000. AK small blind hits his Ace on the flop.

I'm still around with about T5300. Unfortunately, my table is pretty tough, and it's not going to break for a while, so it might be difficult to accumulate chips.

I'm out as well. I was also at a tough table like Will. When I busted out in 320's, 5 of the players at my table were still there from the beginning. We only had four players bust out in 2 hours of play.

I [censored] up bad though, completely my fault. I was low stack for so long, and had 550 in the CO when I pick up ATo, after 1 limper. I go all-in and the BB follows suit for 850 chips, but the limper calls.

The BB has 99, limper QJ suited, but I win the pot on a Jxx-x-A board.

This took me to 1850 chips.

And then I brainfarted. Folded to me with QT, I raise to 450 (3 times BB), SB (big stack) puts me all-in, and leaves me 1400 to call - and guess what I FRIGGIN CALL! Oops! For a split second I still felt like I was in low stack-all-in mode and that I had to call.

Obviously I shoulda folded as I still woulda had 1400 chips with the big blinds 150. SB had JJ, flopped his set, and I was drawing dead.

Just a split second mistake throws my whole tourney away. Does anyone have any tips to help me from making stupid mistakes like this? Should I perhaps force myself to wait for the 20 second warning before ever deciding to go all-in?

I busted 299. I had KK on the button, blinds 75/150, I had 1900. MP makes it 450, I make it 1025, w/ 2 seconds left he moves in, I call, he has AJ and flops an Ace. I was bummed out.

Will, you still in? If so, what's your handle?

I'm out. I was really happy with how I played right up to my last hand ***warning, bad beat story***. ~130 left (110 pay). I have ~T7000, which is about average. I raise to 1100 w/ AKo from the CO. SB re-raises to 3200. I push. He calls. He has Q2 of spades. 2 aces and 2 spades on the flop. Turn is a spade. River is no help.

Aggravating, but it goes without saying that I'll take that every time.

can't compete with the bad beat story, but I finished 117, still wondering where all the chips bled away to!
