View Full Version : Lessons from David or Mason

I've read posts about David giving lessons, but does anyone know what he charges? Also, does Mason give lessons. I'll be in Vegas next week, and was considering getting a lesson from one of these gents.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to my trip and perhaps I'll donate a few chips to Dynasty, Clarkmeister, Babe(especially Babe!), or any other 2+2 sharks!

I do occasionally give lessons, and they are very expensive. If you're interested you can email me privately at MasonMalmuth@TwoPlusTwo.com.

I've seen you mention your rate and question whether it is "very expensive" at least assuming most people who avail themselves improve their games. I think what you charge is less than Las Vegas lawyers, and I am assuming you can have an impact in fewer hours than a lawyer.;-)

We should be happy though that relatively few people will spend any significant money or time to improve their games, even though they stand to gain it back many times over in the future. Needless to say, Mason or David will get some of my money for this someday.

Noo Yawk- Meet me at the Mirage Friday 21st at 2PM. I'll be in California through Thursday (20th), so you will have to settle for playing with the boys till I return. Good luck and see ya then. Babe.

"I do occasionally give lessons, and they are very expensive."

Honest response to be sure but not particularly brilliant from a marketing perspective :-)

SKP:

I only give lessons because people request them. I don't solicit them, and don't want to be doing it very much. But if someone is real interested and willing to pay the price, I will take them on.

Best wishes,

mason

I can tell you from personal experience that your game would benefit from taking a few lessons from Mason. You will also find out that he is a really nice guy. This will make you wonder why so many people say negative things about him. My best guess is jealousy.

Best wishes,

Mike Watson

The question is how much is "expensive"?

i think that mason takes a long term marketing perspective: minimize the short term hype, consistently provide a better product that is honest and true. hey sounds like a great plan....jmho...but true...gl
