Poker game info:
This and every Friday there will be a hi-stakes poker game on a boat in the Baltimore harbor from 9pm-3am. There will be two holdem tables running: 1) No Limit 10/20 blinds with a $1,000 minimum buy-in, and 2) 15/30 Limit. The games will be played casino-style, including professional dealers (tipping not expected).
There will be a charge of $20 per player to play each night, and that money will be used to pay the dealers and supply the players with an open bar and snacks. There will also be a small rake taken out of each flopped pot for the house (I’m not doing this for my health!!) All of the amenities of a well-run casino game will be instituted, included velvet tables with padded rails, seat cushions, nice chips, professional dealer buttons and cut-cards, etc….. My goal here is to give the hi-limit players that go to Atlantic City every week a local alternative. Security will be very tight; guns and drugs strictly prohibited. In addition, the boat will pick the players up at a designated spot, each week different so only the players for that week know where the game is. Obviously, discretion is key if we want to keep the game going.
