raise preflop, bet the flop. I don't see how letting the flop get checked through is SOP. you have a guy who limped in steal position, and the BB. what makes you think either will bet for you?

I think I would bet the flop here against a MP openlimper and BB, since I think there is a good chance that I have the best hand and I also would have bet a flushdraw here.

If my opponents are aggressive i may check-raise instead. I assume that was what you were going for ?

unfortunatly, no, I wasn't going for a checkraise. I was really usure where I stood on the flop and was afraid to bet b/c even if I have the best hand now theres a good chance I won't be good by the river.

Um, no. The chances of you having the best hand on this flop are rather high given the preflop action, and the chances of you still having the best hand on the river are also rather high. What are you putting your opponents on? K /images/graemlins/spade.gif J /images/graemlins/spade.gif and 2 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 4 /images/graemlins/heart.gif?

That is about the worst case scenario (correct me if I'm wrong here) when you hold the best hand on this flop

pokenum -h ac 2c - ks js - 2h 4h -- as qs 3h
Holdem Hi: 903 enumerated boards containing As Qs 3h
cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV
Ac 2c 343 37.98 554 61.35 6 0.66 0.383
Ks Js 436 48.28 467 51.72 0 0.00 0.483

and you STILL are getting more than your fair share.

are you running bad by any chance? because I feel like I never had a problem with any of your hand posts in the past, but the last few have been pretty weak-tight.

Which guy are you putting on an A? The guy who open-limped from LMP? Or the guy who put his money in without looking at his cards?

Good lord don't play Axs is you are "only playing for a flush draw." You will not make any money with the hand.

Yeah extremly. I lost 2 flushs to rivered FHs when the guy had 2 pair. Then trips which turned into a full house on the river to get beat by 2 pair that caught their higher full house. Makes me question my game sometimes.

you shouldn't let bad beats put you on tilt. you just end up losing more money by playing weak-tight.
