Question regarding Poker Felt

I am currently in the middle of building my own table and would like to add a personal touch. Has anyone who has built their own table put any type of graphic design on your felt? If so, whats the best way. I'm also using the velveteen material, if that makes a difference. I'm sure there are options out there, just wanted to check with everyone here first. We got the ends of a piece of billiard table felt for our poker table. It would have cost us around 200 dollars a yard, however the piece we bought was basically left over scraps, and ended up costing us under 20 dollars (for a piece about 96" x 50"
