Villian is tight/passive.

Thoughts?

tight passive and he raises you... generally not good. With that read i'd call it probably instead of 3 bet. =/

Tight-passive would limp with AQ from EP, and I can't imagine him holding 22 (TP's probably pass here from EP). Anything else would've required him to chase or raise PF (although TP'ers could limp with AA or QQ, but I think he'd have put in a raise before the river with those hands).

If he's the type that's always showing down stronger hands than what you thought he had, I would just call the raise. Against a player who would play any ace, however, I would make it 3 as well.

I like it. His most likely hand is a worse 2-pair (specifically A3) if he is fairly tight post flop since 33 or 45 are pretty loose calls on that board in a small pot.

I play it the same way.

I'm having a hard time figuring out what a tight-passive EP player would play from EP, chase with, and raise on this river -- A3s? In any case, I'd probably raise the river and hope not to see 33 (and if I did I'd change my read).
