Preflop: I fold T9 unless is suited.

Flop: At 1/2, I bet out because they are going to call overcards or any piece of the flop. If I get 2 callers, then I debate check-raising or leading the turn.

After the flop action that you got, I think you played the hand well. Hope you didn't get bit by the runner-runner flush, but don't think you did based on the betting.

It looks fine to me - hopefully BB had a set or 2 pair, and not a weirdly played flush. I wouldn't worry about getting tricky when you flop the nuts.

Even from the SB? I'm trying to tighten up my SB standards, but I can't see not compeleting here.

I don't think it's horrible to call T9o from the SB. Long term, it's probably not going to win or lose you much money 3 handed. I just hate playing anything but premium hands when out of position.

I am more likely to make this call from the SB when there are 3 or more limpers. That way I know exactly what to look for on the flop (trips, 2 pair, or straight draw) and can fold anything else.

I wouldn't 3-bet river and certainly raise flop.

Probably should have included this in my original post, but I wasn't scared of the flush. BB wouldn't play a flush draw that way on the turn from what I knew of him. I felt pretty good that I was good here.

I bet on the flop. I almost never slowplay monsters... it's just not that profitable. I don't 3-bet on the river with a possible flush out there. Rest seems fine.

Thanks,

Guido

P.S. did you receive my emails?

I think you can call when your postflop game is good enough.

When you are sure he wouldn't play a flush draw this way your 3-bet on the river is fine.

Just found 'em. I'm blocking hotmail so they were in my spam address. I'll take a look.
