I don't think you can give a random 2/4 player enough respect to throw this away. they're idiots. he could have the 2 /images/graemlins/spade.gif and be thinking "oh man, I have a flush! gotta raise"

He cold-called preflop and this is Paradise not Party. Do you think that makes any difference?

Nope not folding here. Had a nearly identical hand yesterday and was promptly shown a suited 4. Im more than likely going to call down here at 2/4. You're behind exactly 2 cards in the whole deck (and an outside chance at a straight flush). If he has any of the above, god bless him, but I'm thinking you 50/50 here and getting more than enough overlay to call down.

Just my 2 cents,

I am surprised man. Not giving you a hard time, just based on the posts I have read from you... this doesn't sound like you.

You and many other posters here give way too much respect to 2/4 Paradise players. Indeed, there are plenty of idiots at Paradise as well, as the following demonstrates:

Awful fold against typical $2/$4 opponents. After he raises, there are nine big bets in the pot. You call one, that's ten. You check-call the river, that's twelve. So, you're getting 6:1 to see a showdown. Are you 84% sure this player has one of only two cards that beat you?

Edit: I am discounting the possibility of a straight flush, of course.

actually, yes. I alwyas assume it's Party. I never played at Paradise, but everyone says they play tight. and cold-calling is a passive move. now I think you can lay it down.

I think you're giving way too much credit. I wouldn't fold.
