Is there any way to prevent tile or is there a way once you recognize your on tilt how do you overcome it?

Get up and walk away. If you're chained to the table, force yourself to not play a few hands. I know how it feels to be on tilt. I'm my own worst enemy after a bad beat...it's amazing how sexy J7o looks after losing a big hand.

Tile can be a serious problem, but it CAN be prevented. First, go to your local floor covering specialist and find out what your options are (carpet, linoleum, hardwood).

Next, find a PROFESSIONAL installer who won't accidentally put down tile instead of your preferred choice of flooring.

Third, relax, even tile can be overcome.

I would add Feeny's Inside the Poker MInd. It deals rather extensively with identifying, analyzing, and doing away with tilt. GREAT book.

If you have any cracks in your tile do not use conventional caulk use "Phenoseal". I had a leak in an upstairs bathroom in my house anytime the tenants would shower. I called the my friend who is a plumber and he told me to purchase this product and to put it over the cracks.

Well what do you know, there are no more leaks.

I recommend it.
