Hello everyone, I have been troubled by this hand for a couple days now. I was chip leader for a long time then slowly got dwindled down due to a series of all ins from the other players which i could not call. the tourney became a crapshoot for the most part, i was trying to make it into the money before i loosened up. This is a hand where i think i should have put the player all in instead of bet a measly 400. Do you think he would have folded to a bet of his whole stack? or was he calling with any two at this point. some help would be appreciated and thanks in advance. this is not a bad beat story, i just want others input on if i played correctly. I knew SB didnt have an ace, he was the type to raise all in PF w/ any ace at this point since he did it three times already.

River: (t2160) T/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: t2160
Main Pot: t2160 (t2160), between SB and Hero. > Pot won by SB (t2160).

Results in white below:

Easy Easy all in preflop.

I agree you clearly needed to push preflop. His play post flop is very strange.

He had very little folding equity so I think he would have called your all in thinking his K high was good.

Just my guess.

Do you think he wouldve called my all in raise PF after he completed, or would he have let it go you think??

Thanks again

Jim

You can never tell, but a call would be terrible. You would love a call from K5.

Just a pure guess, impossible to know but I would guess blindly about 50/50 that he calls/folds.
